FAQ For Amflow E-bikes
Q: Will Amflow sell out?
A: Amflow E-bikes have limited stock, however more shipments are coming. Amflow have informed us that supply may be constrained for up to the first 6 months. Orders are recommended if you want to secure a bike.
Q: Will you have demo bikes?
A: Yes we have a demo Amflow PL Carbon model in size L available for short introductory rides.
Q: Does Amflow have bike shop warranty support?
A: Yes Coastal Bike Co will be supplying warranty and parts support for Amflow bikes purchased locally. Coastal Bike Co is an authorised Amflow dealer.
Q: Will you ship Amflow bikes
A: Yes, we do ship Amflow bikes. We prefer that you pick up your bike instore so that we can run through the bike features and complete a full setup including suspension etc.
Q: Can I order an Amflow bike online?
A: Yes you can order your bike online. Please click on the models at the top of the this webpage. Orders are payment in full in advance when ordered online. Alternatively you can contact us at the shop on 02 4324 8916 or admin@coastalbikeco.com.au and place a $1500 deposit on your bike via direct deposit payment. Please note that deposits are not refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing with Coastal Bike Co.
Q: Do Amflow bikes arrive assembled?
A: Bikes that ship will require some assembly, ie handlebars affixed and front wheel installed. The bike ships with instructions, however we recommend a qualified bike mechanic complete this work. Amflow bikes that are collected instore will be completely assembled by our qualified mechanics with fit modifications such as: saddle height, bar width, tubeless tyre setup, inserts (If ordered) and a comprehensive suspension setup and handover completed. Bikes that are returned to premises also receive a complimentary first service within the first 3 months from date of purchase.
Q: What battery sizes are available?
A: Both the Amflow Carbon and Amflow Carbon Pro have an 800Wh battery.
Q: Is the Amflow legal to ride on the road and trails?
A: Yes Amflow bikes meet Australian E-bike legislation and can be ridden on bike paths, roads and trails just as you would a normal mountain bike
Q: What does the Amflow weigh?
A: Amflow quotes a size medium Pro Model with the 800Wh battery to weigh in at 19.6kg. Yes this is incredibly light for a full power full battery e-bike.
Q: How much power does the Amflow produce?
A: In normal mode the Amflow DJI Avinox motor will produce a peak 850 watts and 105NM of torque. If the boost mode is engaged the outputs climb to a peak of 1000 watts and 120NM of torque. This is a game changing E-bike motor!
Q: Can you help me pick what size bike will fit me?
A: Yes we can assist with this, either instore by putting you on a bike to ride or over the phone. Over the phone we will need to know your height and preferably your saddle height, what bike and size you ride now and how that bike feels to you. We are happy to help out.
Q: What size wheels is the Amflow supplied with?
A: The Amflow is capable of being setup as either 29er front and rear or a mullet (29 front 27.5 Rear) All Amflow bikes come supplied as a 29er. If you would like to add an Amflow rear 27.5 Wheel to your order please let us know or add it to your cart on checkout.
Q: Do Amflow provide a 27.5 inch rear wheel?
A: No Amflow do not currently supply this size wheel, we recommend using a 27.5 Rear wheel with a Hope E-bike hub which you can purchase from our website.
